Understanding Fiscal Years
A fiscal year (FY) is a 12-month period used for budgeting and accounting purposes. At CTC, the fiscal year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. As the fiscal year spans two calendar years, the fiscal year and calendar year may not always align. For instance, Fiscal Year 2024 runs from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, which we denote as Fiscal Year 23-24 for simplicity.
