Laundry Service Change - Effective April 1, 2016
The Board of Directors and CTC Management Team finalized an agreement with BDS Laundry Systems as the new laundry service provider for CTC. BDS will be installing all new washer and dryer machines starting April 1, 2016.
CTC Management Team is working with the laundry companies to make the transition process go as smoothly as possible. Please be advised there will be a 2-3 day transition period between removal and installation of machines. Communication of the transition details will continue to be updated regularly.
The current laundry company CSC Service Works will be removing all machines by March 31, 2016.
Laundry Card Exchange has been created online under resident resources in the Classifieds section for anyone wanting to post available or wanted laundry card balances. This is a community cooperative approach to this transition.
Posting Online – 1. Email ctc@umnctc.org your available or wanted laundry card balances. 2. Provide contact information (email and/or phone number)
We also suggest connecting with neighbors or posting a sign in the laundry room to notify others of your laundry card value balances. Be sure to provide contact information.
Be sure to spend down current laundry card money. Be sure to plan accordingly when reloading cards this month, by only adding low value amounts and or check the Laundry Card Exchange
LOOKING FOR GOOD BOARD MEMBERS
The CTC Board of Directors is looking for a few cooperative members who would like to commit to a 2 year term as a board member. The work of the board is to create and set policy, make decisions on budgets and how funds will be allocated as well as work on challenges and events that affect the members of CTC. If you are interested in this task, and in learning more about how the business works from the inside, the board member job description and application are available online. Completed applications can be submitted to the CTC Office. The new members will be elected at the CTC Annual Members Meeting Spring 2016.
Everyone is welcome to attend the monthly Board meetings to see how the process works. Have additional questions? Feel free to stop in to meet with General Manager Kris Graham for details of the work of the board or email kgraham@umnctc.org

Diele Lobo will be volunteering this month and showing us how to cook Pao de queijo (cheese bread or cheese roll). A Yummy savory dish form Brazil! This class is open to all CTC residents and FREE!
