Board of Directors Corner

Dear Community Members,

Thank you to all the participants of this year’s National Night Out event. This annual event is a great neighborhood building experience. The University Police CRT Team was on site visiting with residents and sharing safety tips and freeze pops. UMPD wants to remind the community to keep a watch out and be sure to report any suspicious activity by calling 9-1-1. More safety prevention resources can be found on the UMPD website. Bike Theft Prevention and Safety tips can be found on the U’s Parking and Transportation Services website

Road Replacement Project – 2016 phase
Knapp Ave Road Replacement Project is underway. This is the first roadway of the three scheduled road replacements of 2016. The estimated completion for Knapp Ave is mid-September. Upon the completion of Knapp Ave, they will move over to Ray Place. Prior to the completion of Ray Place, the contractors will close Raleigh Street. The entire project is anticipated to be completed early October.

Road Safety Reminders - - Be sure to keep children away from the construction area. Do not cut through the construction site. Utilize detour routes. Visitor Parking Permits are being restricted to allow more open parking opportunity for residents. Be sure to have valid parking permits visible when parked on property. Vehicles without valid permits are subject to immobilization and towing at owners expense.

If at any time you have questions. Be sure to contact the CTC Office 651-646-7526 email: ctc@umnctc.org

Thank you for your cooperation and compliance during this road improvement project.
