Temporary Move-Out Dumpster

New dumpster added temporarily for residents to use to discard furniture and large items when other dumpster sites are at full capacity. Do not dispose of household garbage in the temporary dumpster, please.

Temporary, Added Dumpster

For Furniture + Large Items

With the increased demand for dumpster space amid the summer season with many residents moving out and discarding furniture and other large possessions, CTC added a garbage dumpster for residents to use when the other dumpsters get full.

No Household Garbage

The temporary dumpster is specifically intended only for large items and furniture, not for household garbage: the dumpster will sit for weeks before being changed out, in which any household garbage attract a lot of insects and small animals.

Location

The move-out dumpster will be located at the intersection of Gibbs and Fifield Ave through the end of August 2022.

View CTC Map for street names and all dumpster sites.

Do Not Leave Trash/Furniture Near Dumpsters

Please do not leave garbage/furniture by the dumpsters (or abandoned anywhere in CTC). If a dumpster is full, please take your trash to another nearby receptacle with space.

For more information, view CTC's Resident Handbook and the current Fee Schedule (log into your RentCafe account > Resident Resources > Governance Documents).

Leaving trash/furniture near dumpsters negatively affects everyone

Sell or Donate Items Instead

If you think your neighbors might want your discarded items/furniture, post on our Facebook group 'CTC Shop & Swap,' or the community virtual bulletin board via your RentCafe account. Otherwise, you are just leaving your neighbors with the mess and to cover the bill for the extra pick-up cost. Another option is to donate items to Salvation Army, Epilepsy Foundation, St. Vincent DePaul, or Goodwill. Some donation sites will even pick it up!
