Environmental Design & Landscape Task Force
March 6, 2018
6:30PM
Fireplace Room
We have a very exciting opportunity coming up, as a community driven Landscape + Environmental Design Task Force will be working on intentional chemical free zone pilot projects and organic based urban prairie designs around the property. This task force will focus of decreasing and eliminating lawn care expense and use of pesticides while working with Russ Henry, a Certified Soil Health Biologist and Organic Turf Landscape Design Consultant.
This task force will elicit engagement of University Bee Lab and Office of Sustainability to expand depth of resources and growth opportunities towards a healthy sustainable and cost effective land care maintenance plan.
All volunteers interested in joining the task force can meet with us Tuesday, March 6th 2018 at 6:30pm in the Community Center Fire Place Room.
All are welcome.
Snacks and beverages will be served.
