Fall Clean-up
We're redirecting residents to help clean up the property on their own time between Friday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 1, instead of our typical Fall Clean-up this year.
Fall Clean-up: Social-Distanced Style!
Get Outside: Get active, enjoy the spring weather, and gather and bag litter from all the community spaces!
Be Safe: practice social distancing, use gloves, don't lift more than you can manage.
Have fun: Share pictures on the CTC Facebook Page :D
Task List:
- Clean up all trash and put in dumpsters
- Pick up rocks and large sticks and place by dumpsters
- Rake in rows: rake away from all building and objects including bike racks to allow for easy access for Landcare equipment.
- Roll the hoses up and putting in storage along with organizing storage areas.
- Clear weeds of community flower beds (Peace Garden, Fruit Garden, Hasta Garden's)
- Dispose of abandoned toys/furniture, bikes,
- Put out Shovels (1 per front shared 2/3 bedroom, Every other unit on back of 2/3 bedroom, 1 per side of 1 bedrooms)
- Laundry Room
- Remove any items in laundry room by Thursday, October 29. Any remaining items will be removed throughout clean-up weekend
- Remove "no posting signs" and tape on windows
- Remove any old postings on interior bulletin board
- Individual household task reminders
- Cleaning out front and back flower beds (free of weeks and plants when season is done)
- Organizing or removing junk
Supplies:
- All rakes, snow shovels, and garbage bags are in your Ward Storage. If bags run out, please use a personal garbage bag. THANKS!
- Return all rake to your Ward’s storage unit. Please disinfect handles of rakes and shovels before and after use (using laundry room disinfectant). Put away neatly and organized so others can access the room.
- Gloves are in laundry rooms for disinfecting purposes, but can be used as well for cleaning the grounds, or please bring your own gardening gloves.
