Gingerbread House Contest

'Tis the season to create a gingerbread house with your friends and family! Submit houses on Dec. 23rd for a community vote, awarding two houses' creators gift cards to Love from Minnesota.

"Gingerbread House" Contest Rules

You can use a pre-made kit if you choose.
You are encouraged to make your own “house” completely from scratch if you choose.
Your “house” need not be made of gingerbread.
Decorate your creation with anything you like with all visible elements being edible
Feel free to interpret “house” as loosely as you want to (it should however resemble a structure of some nature but imaginations and creativity are encouraged).
Prizes awarded in Family and Adult categories.
Entries must be turned in on Monday, Dec. 23. Drop creations off in the Community Center Meeting Room between 8 am – 3 pm. Entries then must be picked up Friday, Jan. 3rd from the room between 9 am – 3 pm.
All houses must be turned in with an Entry Form (retrieve from CTC Office at drop off)

Prizes

The winning Gingerbread Houses from the Family and Adult categories will each win a $25 gift card to Love from Minnesota/Patti’s Ice Cream Shop in Roseville.

Voting

Voting Poll is open from Tuesday, Dec. 24 through Thursday, January 2nd.

All Gingerbread House submissions will be displayed in the Community Center Meeting Room (1st floor), along with images posted in our CTC Winter Warriors group on Facebook on Dec. 24th. You can place two votes for your favorite submissions: one for the Family category, and one for the Adult category. Vote via the CTC Winter Warriors group poll or in the Community Center by submitting a voting slip into the Rent Dropbox location on the CTC Office window.

Winter Challenge Group

CTC will host similar winter themed activities and challenges throughout the season, bringing fun and rewarding perks to the community! In example, we are holding a snowman contest for all to join upon an upcoming snowfall, then the group will vote on the winter in consideration to size, theme, and flair!
