National Night Out (NNO) is an annual nationwide event that encourages residents to get out in the community, holding block parties and getting to know their neighbors as a way to encourage crime prevention. NNO a great way to promote community-police partnerships and enjoy a Minnesota summer evening surrounded by friends and family.

CTC will host a block party for our residents to celebrate NNO, providing the opportunity to bond with fellow neighbors and local police to show that CTC is not to be threatened by any prospective thieves!

In addition, our English Conversation Group will host a discussion regarding crime prevention the morning before the event. Meet us in the Fireplace Room on Tuesday, August 7th at 10 am to converse the following topics:

• How do I report a crime?

• What is suspicious activity and when do I report it?

• Safety Tips

• Simple Crime Vocabulary

• National Night Out History, Event Information and Activities

Learning the proper ways to detect, prevent, and report crime is an excellent resource for the security of you and your neighbors. The collaboration and unity of our community makes it significantly more efficient and effective to minimize crime and provide resolutions for any forthcoming incidents.
