Important Updates for February!

February marks our book club’s one-year anniversary, and we’re planning something special:

  1. Special Book Selection! CTC is gifting The Book Thief to participants. We have 10 copies available—pick yours up during in-person business hours or email Lindy to set up a time for pick up. (First come, first serve!)
  2. Blind Date with a Book: Bring a wrapped book (used or new) to exchange during the meeting. Write a few clues (e.g., genre, setting, first line) on the outside to guide others in their choice. Wrapping supplies will be available. Used books in good condition are welcome—ThriftBooks is a great source for affordable options!
  3. We’re now selecting books two months in advanceSee March's book selection here.

This event is organized by CTC residents, for CTC residents. If you're interested in joining our discussion, you can pick up a copy of the book from us. We have a couple copies available, and you can secure yours by emailing Lindy.

Whether you're a seasoned reader or just looking to dive into a good book, we welcome everyone to come together for an engaging conversation. Remember, borrowing the book from our library is free, and there's no charge for attending the meeting. Let's explore literature and build community together!

Start your own group or event —it's easy, and we're here to help!

This event, like the majority of CTC's events and groups, is made possible by one or more resident volunteers.

Do you have an idea of an activity or event for our community? Or want to teach or learn a new skill or hobby or aspect of life? Do you want to help volunteer to bring your or other's ideas into fruition? Email CTC's Community Outreach Manager and/or join CTC's Programs Committee at our next meeting to brainstorm and discuss ideas!
