National Public Lands Day

Greetings Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers!

Are you ready to join with hundreds of other volunteers to make a difference Minnesota's treasured public lands? National Public Lands Day, September 30 -- our statewide day of service -- is coming fast and it's time for you to pick your project.

Saturday September 30 is National Public Lands Day across the United States. We will be joining a large number of volunteers to make an impact on our natural areas and public lands. We have sites spread across the state to allow you to choose the site close to you, or to choose the project that interests you the most! We have a big variety of offerings this year including invasive species removal, prairie seed collection and prairie site restoration. We are partnering with many agencies, and businesses to make this day of service successful.

This is the one common day of service for the Master Naturalist program each year. We are looking forward to having a great number of volunteers statewide. Watch for photos and impacts on the Minnesota Master Naturalist Facebook Page.

Sign up by September 1 to ensure you get a t-shirt.

Staff from the Minnesota Master Naturalist team will be out and about at several sites across the state. Make sure to introduce yourself and say hello.
